Essential Duties
- Aids in the maintenance of ongoing preventive maintenance programs
- Responds to maintenance orders placed by residents
- Aids in the turnover of empty apartments to facilitate leasing
- Repairs and maintains kitchen, housekeeping, and mechanical equipment
- Repairs and maintains heating and air-conditioning units
- Inspects and repairs damage to various areas including hallways, walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and resident apartments
- Paints areas as needed
- Maintains necessary tools and equipment
- Lubricates appliances and other equipment according to a preventive maintenance schedule
- Inspects and changes central heating and air conditioning filters
Education/Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous experience in a maintenance or similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and computer skills
- Understanding and upholding policies and procedures established by Triple Crown Senior Living
- Independence, confidentiality, professionalism, and leadership
- Effective interpersonal skills and sound judgment
- Good working relationships with residents, co-workers, families, and external customers
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
