Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our maintenance director to perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various systems, including mechanical, electric, and plumbing
• Maintain good working rapport and cooperation with our clinical teams to ensure seamless daily operations
• Perform duties with components of utility systems, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• May be required to be on call every other weekend
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff

About You

• Trade or vocational school graduate preferred
• Current and valid driver's license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in various maintenance trade, preferred
• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 4 ft.
• Previous environmental or maintenance service in healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
