Maintenance Assistant

About the role

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for keeping facilities in top shape? Sandstone Estates is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance team in ensuring our facility is safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Location: 2900 E Milber St., Tucson, AZ

Responsibilities

• Support Maintenance Operations: Assist with routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upkeep to ensure our environment is secure and comfortable.
• Troubleshooting: Help diagnose issues and perform minor repairs under the guidance of the maintenance team.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and organizing maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance staff and other departments to support timely and efficient service.

• Electrical Maintenance & Basic Repairs
• Drywall Patching, Repair & Finishing
• Plumbing Repairs & Troubleshooting
• Interior & Exterior Painting

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in Maintenance or a related field is a plus.
• Basic Technical Skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Attention to Detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong Work Ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
