About the role
We’re seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help with the upkeep of our cultivation facility. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on maintenance skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Auxiliary with routine inspections and minor repairs on cultivation equipment.
- Support maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and report any facility or equipment issues.
- Perform basic repairs (e.g., drywall, plumbing leaks, light installations).
- Help maintain landscaping, weed control, and irrigation systems.
- Ensure facility cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Facility Manager on daily tasks.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs and scheduled inspections.
- Safely use tools and equipment required for maintenance work.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous Maintenance, Handyman, or Facility Support Experience (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or equipment troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working indoor and outdoor in varying conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
