Maintenance Assistant
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Edgerton, WI. The ideal candidate will support the maintenance department by performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and ensuring that facilities and equipment are kept in good working order.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine building and grounds maintenance.
- Aid with lawn care, landscaping, and seasonal outdoor projects.
- Complete basic repairs, painting, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Aid in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and facility standards.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Support special projects assigned by the Maintenance Director or Facility Administrator.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
