Maintenance Assistant

Cleanliness and Maintenance

• Cleans warehouse floors, offices, break room, and restrooms.
• Sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping surfaces.
• Restocking supplies.
• Painting, replacing bulbs, maintaining equipment, and performing routine repairs.
• Maintaining grounds outside the warehouse including blowing leaves, picking up litter, roof checks, pressure washing, and building maintenance.
• Participating in snow and ice removal.

Security and Safety

• Follows safety and security procedures.
• Wearing safety goggles when using compactor and baler.
• Product disposal.
• Responds quickly to clean up spills.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.

Operational Support

• Operates personal vehicle to purchase supplies and parts.
• Checks daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs.
• Assists with department duties as necessary.
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
