Position Summary
Provides janitorial services and general maintenance of the warehouse and grounds while delivering a high level of member service.
Responsibilities
- Cleans warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms using self‑propelled floor‑scrubbing machinery, sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping.
- Follows departmental procedures and standards for cleanliness and performance of duties.
- Restocks supplies.
- Paints, replaces bulbs, maintains equipment, and performs routine repairs throughout the warehouse.
- Assists in building displays and fixtures.
- Maintains grounds outside the warehouse, including blowing leaves, picking up litter, roof checks, pressure washing, and building maintenance.
- Participates in snow and ice removal.
- Follows safety and security procedures, such as tagging and locking off power access when working on electrical equipment, wearing safety goggles when using compactor and baler, and proper product disposal.
- Responds quickly to clean up spills.
- Empties trash from designated areas throughout the warehouse and operates the garbage compactor and cardboard baler.
- Checks daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs.
- Drives a personal vehicle to purchase supplies and parts needed for projects.
- Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Assists with department duties and other warehouse departments as necessary.
Requirements
- Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
- Open availability to meet the needs of the business.
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
