Maintenance Assistant
About the role
Inspiring a resident-centric focus, CCMC is a community management company specializing in master-planned communities. Our Maintenance Associates play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetics of the facilities.
Responsibilities
Performing general maintenance, grounds keeping, and custodial work in all common areas including:
- Emptying trash, replacing pet waste bags, stocking restroom supplies, sweeping, cleaning furniture, etc.
- Completing minor maintenance and repairs.
Achieving a daily routine of general and preventative facilities maintenance to provide environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient facilities and parks.
Operating a wide variety of light equipment and machinery.
Performing a variety of labor-intensive work.
Providing customer service during rentals and performing check-in & check-out requirements.
Setting up and tearing down for all community events.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge and proficiency gained through training and experience in the maintenance/custodial field.
A team player who takes pride in their responsibilities and the facilities they oversee.
Organization, efficiency, and the ability to exercise good judgment.
Self-motivated, observant, pays high attention to detail, and detects maintenance needs throughout the property and rectifies concerns.
Ability to communicate with managers, residents, and peers in a positive and effective way.
Reliable, positive attitude, and skills to complete maintenance tasks.
Valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
Passes a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Qualifications
Able to move a variety of tools/cleaning equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
Ability to operate a vehicle to perform certain job functions.
