Principal Responsibilities
- Ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements
- Performs preventative maintenance procedures
- Requires full range of body motion
- Maintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs
- Understands department budget
- Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, State and Corporate requirements
- May train personnel to meet Center needs
- Participates in assigned meetings and in-services
- May assume role of Director in his absence
Qualifications
- One year experience in a long term care center preferred
- Ability to read and write English for business necessity
- Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs
- One year experience in basic trades preferred
- Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred
Consumer Service
- Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech
- Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns
- Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected
