Maintenance Assistant

About the Role

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services to perform routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
• Maintain the facility grounds, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
• Ensure the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills as requested.
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years' experience as a building trade helper, apprentice, or equivalent preferred.
• Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
