Maintenance Assistant

About the role

As a Maintenance Assistant at RYZE West, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of our facility, helping to provide exceptional care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Team in performing routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Cleaning and polishing floors, walls, and surfaces
  • Restocking supplies and materials
  • Performing minor repairs and troubleshooting
  • Assisting with snow removal and yard work during winter months
• Ensure the facility is kept in a clean and safe condition, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and meet the needs of our residents
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
