MAINTENANCE ASSIST-Senior Living Community

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of building systems, equipment, and fixtures
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of common areas, including hallways, restrooms, and workspaces
• Support the inspection and reporting of maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
• Help with setup and breakdown for company events or meetings
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Skills and Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in maintenance, custodial work, or a related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
