Responsibilities
- Use common hand and power tools.
- Weld, cut, and braze using oxy/acetylene and MIG equipment.
- Read 2D blueprints and parts diagrams.
- Cut and thread pipe up to 2 inches in diameter.
- Specify and run EMT conduit and related hardware.
- Install and troubleshoot electrical control systems using appropriate measurement tools and electrical schematics.
- Apply basic knowledge of digital logic and numbering systems.
- Use current software to access and modify electrical diagrams.
- Use current software for PLCs and associated control modules to aid in troubleshooting equipment and machinery.
- Perform physical work of the trade with reasonable accommodations and without hazard to self or others.
