Responsibilities
- Assemble, clean, test, calibrate, and prepare sold and supplied customer equipment.
- Build pumps, gas pumps, KB units, and related plant and customer equipment to specification.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding for fabrication, weld assembly, equipment repair, and plant maintenance.
- Fabricate, modify, and repair mechanical and structural components.
- Set up and operate shop equipment including iron worker, saw, lathe, and mill.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rework customer and plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Monitor equipment performance within assigned areas and communicate issues or repair needs to management.
- Clean, clear, and service equipment as necessary to maintain operability, following lockout/tagout procedures.
- Prepare finished equipment for shipment, including palletizing, crating, and verifying accuracy and quality standards.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, tractors, and cranes (crane operation with managerial oversight for rigging and lifting).
- Assist with general facility maintenance including minor plumbing, yard upkeep, and rail spur maintenance.
- Support fleet vehicle maintenance with minor mechanical tasks such as battery replacement, lights, doors, and windows.
- Assist with operation and maintenance of rental equipment as assigned.
- Support chemical spill response and cleanup using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical assembly, fabrication, or related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with MIG, TIG, or stick welding.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
- Working knowledge of shop equipment including lathe, mill, saw, and iron worker.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
- Basic knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and general industrial safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in mechanical and fabrication work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
