Maintenance and Reliability Technician

About the Role

The Maintenance and Reliability Technician performs priority repairs and maintenance efficiently, completes scheduled projects on time and to quality standards, and collaborates with production and repair staff to maximize work quality and department productivity.

Responsibilities

• Execute priority repairs as assigned.
• Perform technical repairs specific to CFF and its producers.
• Complete scheduled, non-priority repairs to company quality and cost standards.
• Provide service and labor for the farm group, including general carpentry, plumbing, and steel repair.
• Lead or provide labor for other projects as needed.
• Execute maintenance procedures on assigned farms as part of the Asset Maintenance Program.
• Prepare seasonal equipment for use and maintain proper storage of equipment not in use.

Requirements

• Visual ability to operate machinery (e.g., lathes, drill presses, power saws, mills) and perform non-repetitive mechanical or skilled tasks (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, painting, mechanics).
• Must operate a company vehicle or receive regular mileage reimbursement; employment is contingent upon a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) review for insurability.

Pay

Targeted base pay range: $22–$29 per hour, reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
