Maintenance and Reliability Leader

About the role

Roquette is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Leader to join our Newark Leadership Team and serve as a key partner to the Site Leader. In this highly visible role, you'll lead maintenance, reliability, engineering, facilities, and capital improvement initiatives while helping shape the future of a critical pharmaceutical manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of ~20 maintenance and technical professionals.
• Drive asset reliability, operational excellence, and plant performance.
• Champion safety, quality, and compliance across the site.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance budgets, capital projects, and infrastructure investments.
• Partner cross-functionally to reduce downtime, improve productivity, and strengthen long-term business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (Engineering preferred).
• 8+ years of maintenance, reliability, engineering, or manufacturing experience.
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in reliability strategies, continuous improvement, and asset management.
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, food, or specialty chemicals is a plus.
