Maintenance 2 (Water Features)

About the Role

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Water Features Team as a Maintenance 2 Mechanic at Grand Hyatt Kauai located in Poipu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, servicing and repairing the resort's systems/equipment in water features
• Assists with research, planning & scheduling projects and generates purchase orders
• Able to install electrical system, mechanical equipment, perform work on plumbing & piping systems and any other systems related to water features operation
• Complete preventative maintenance program for the systems and equipment
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, state codes and Hyatt standards
• Maintain knowledge of pool chemistry and general pool maintenance practices
• Train others and maintain a clean, safe, well-marked equipment room in accordance with OSHA guidelines

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License
• Forklift Certification preferred
• Must have prior plumbing experience
• 4-6 years of experience in water features and pool chemistry
• Certified Pool Operator certificate preferred
• Must work with a positive attitude
• Teamwork a must
• Must provide full availability

Pay

• 90 Day Probationary Rate: $34.05 per hour
• Hourly Rate: $40.06 per hour
