Maintenance 1st Shift

Schedule

Day shift: Saturday–Monday or Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. Paid for 40 hours if 36 hours are worked; overtime for hours over 40 per week.

Union position.

Pay

$28–$32 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as scheduled in the CMMS.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues on equipment.
• Perform machining operations using lathes, mills, drill presses, and band saws.
• Complete fabrication and assembly projects, including welding and bolted structures.
• Accurately document maintenance activities and work orders in the CMMS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas following 5S standards.
• Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Support additional maintenance tasks and projects as assigned.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills across departments.
• High attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Understanding of maintenance operations within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification or a minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.

Skills

• Basic math skills for measurements and fabrication.
• Proficiency using a CMMS for data entry and work order tracking.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment using logical problem-solving methods.
• Forklift (Hilo) operator certification.
• Scissor lift certification.
