Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated production equipment
- Troubleshoot machine issues and production interruptions
- Perform machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and adjustments
- Aid with machine setups and product changeovers
- Identify potential equipment problems before they result in downtime
- Maintain accurate communication regarding equipment performance and repair needs
- Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience required
- Previous machine operation experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn automated equipment and manufacturing processes
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and write in English
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and working around machinery
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely perform hands-on mechanical work throughout the workday
