Maintanance Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner to reduce hazards
• Lead, direct, participate in, and provide insight into the maintenance of the HVAC and related system operations
• Program and monitor the BMS to ensure energy efficiency and optimal performance
• Operate, monitor, repair, and maintain facility’s mechanical systems, plumbing, irrigation, environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC, and lighting systems
• Train maintenance personnel on temperature set point adjustments, alarm response, and system operation
• Verify completed maintenance and enter data into a tracking system
• Hire, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff
• Provide safety and operational training to the crew
• Manage project tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations
• Direct contracted building maintenance
• Responsible for athletic playing surface upkeep, maintenance, protection, and conversions
• Attend professional development training sessions as directed

• Work flexible hours based on event schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, stooping, lifting and walking
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency with general office PC applications
