Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Perform detailed custodial maintenance of academic, residential, administrative, research, athletic, dining, and campus facilities.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and showers.
• Sweep walkways, vacuum, shampoo carpets, scrub, wax, and buff floors.
• Polish furniture and woodwork.
• Move and reset furniture in residential and academic buildings.
• Remove trash, including broken furniture and materials.
• Conduct indoor/outdoor maintenance tasks, including snow removal.
• Participate in large-scale cleaning and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support university operations.

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
• Physical stamina, ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and shovel snow.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully with students, faculty, and staff.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
• Current and valid Drivers License.
