Maintainer

Responsibilities

• Solve most maintenance issues
• Work on maintenance projects
• Perform preventive maintenance for historic buildings, including:
  • Carpentry
  • Electrical work
  • Masonry
  • Painting
• Basic maintenance of low-pressure hot water boiler systems
• Availability for emergency response duties

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience with basic maintenance of low-pressure hot water boiler systems
• Minimum three years’ experience in maintenance
• Skilled in a broad range of maintenance disciplines
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Familiarity with the operation of power and hand tools
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Willingness to work outdoors under all weather conditions
• Ability to work alone and with others in a team-based organization
• Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays

Qualifications

• Certification in construction preferred, not required

Pay

Annual Salary: $53,997

Schedule

• Full-time; Non-exempt
• 5 days a week, 35 hours a week
• Weekend rotation and split days off
