Maint Tech

Description: This position will work within teams to troubleshoot production issues and provide preventative maintenance to equipment. Duties/Responsibilities:Following health and safety rulesWear personal protective equipmentPerform preventative maintenance on equipment (Air Compressor, Rolling Stock, Production Machinery, HVAC)Able to troubleshoot machinery utilizing schematicsPerform timely repairs on hand tools (e.g. drills, saws)Communicate needs with purchasing department proactivelyRepair/rebuild welding leadsUse knowledge to perform maintenance during production when there is an issuePractice proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures if applicableFill Loctite cartridges for skinsStore tools and materials in proper locations when not in useMaintain clean and safe work area Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities:Use various power and hand tools, experience preferredRead and use a tape measureWillingness to cross-train between departmentsRead and follow work instructionsAble to work 40 - 60 hours a week. Schedule is 7am - 5:30pm with a half hour lunch, Monday - Friday and every other Saturday from 7am - 3pm.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screenGood attendance is requiredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.Must be able to move up to 75 pounds at times.Benefits:After 90 days of employment: health, vision, and dental insurance, company paid life, paid time off, IRA matching programAfter 180 days of employment: paid holidays & paid winter shutdown
