About the Role
The Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) monitors and coordinates sortie generation, maintenance production, and execution of the operations and maintenance schedules while maintaining visibility of fleet health indicators. Through coordination with agencies, maintenance, and operations, the MOC relays priorities for competing limited resources based on the operation schedules and maintenance priorities. The MOC communicates between Operations and Maintenance in sufficient detail to allow compliance with reporting requirements and to highlight potential problems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report the status of aircraft, equipment, and systems as directed, including Estimated Time in Commission (ETIC), progress, and location at all times on and off station during every phase of maintenance and operations.
- Relay priorities to maintenance and verify aircraft, equipment, and systems status and ETICs to ensure proper documentation.
- Utilize Government and Contractor databases to ensure accuracy and proper reporting.
- Coordinate maintenance on aircraft and routing changes to the operations schedule with applicable agencies.
- Ensure all deviations to the daily operations schedule are input and accurately reported; use database systems to maintain accurate aircraft status, configuration, and timeline.
- Request support services, coordinate aircraft engine runs, and oversee all aircraft ground movements conducted by maintenance personnel prior to execution.
- Develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain functional and emergency action checklists.
- Participate in the Data Integrity Team (DIT).
- Notify appropriate agencies using checklists.
- Comply with all Security Program guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software and computer systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Capability to work in an exceptionally dynamic environment.
- Must be able to work days, swings, nights, and/or weekend shifts as required.
- Travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Government and Contractor databases and information systems.
- Experience coordinating activities among multiple agencies in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records and reports.
Pay
Hiring hourly range: $39.14.
