Located in Wheeling, IL, this Night Shift position (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) is with a Fortune 500 consumer‑products manufacturer whose Wheeling facility produces well‑known household brands. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery
• Complete welding, fabrication, and machining projects
• Repair pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and material handling equipment
• Support equipment rebuilds and reliability improvement initiatives
• Utilize SAP/CMMS systems to document maintenance activities
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures
• Work closely with operations to minimize downtime and improve performance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a maintenance apprenticeship program OR 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Experience troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Welding and machining experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
• SAP or CMMS experience preferred
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Fireman Schedule (36 hours one week / 48 hours the next); Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
