Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain assigned line to maintain safety, quality and productivity.
- Including such activities as prepping for roll production, doffing rolls, packaging rolls, line start-ups, operational maintenance and cleaning.
- Provide support to Line Leader.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lift truck experience strongly preferred.
- Experience using Personal computers with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Windows, and Word.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is repeatedly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, or feel objects or tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, smell.
- Employee must be able to lift 35 pounds occasionally and up to 35 pounds repeatedly and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Employee must have 20/20 vision corrected in both eyes, to discern various color graphics and color matches.
- Employee must be able to work rotating 12 hour shifts.
- Employee must be qualified to operate powered industrial trucks and pass Forklift License Program.
