We are unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position. Job Summary: Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Mainframe Architect to support the Tax Modernization Program. The selected candidate will play a lead role in the Integrated Account System (IAS) Modernization Project, a major initiative focused on modernizing legacy systems. Key Responsibilities Lead technical architecture and design activities for the IAS Modernization ProjectAnalyze existing mainframe applications, databases, interfaces, and batch processesSupport the conversion of legacy mainframe systems to new technology platformsDevelop and maintain complex tax accounting applications using COBOL, APS, CICS, IDMS, DB2, MQ Series, JCL, and TSODesign and optimize complex database structures in IBM DB2 for z/OS and DB2 for LUW environmentsParticipate in application development, data conversion, integration, system testing, and implementation activitiesConduct application performance analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuningSupport large-scale databases containing one terabyte or more of dataCollaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users to understand system requirementsProvide technical leadership, architectural guidance, maintenance support, and issue resolution for complex taxation systems Mandatory Qualifications Minimum 7 years of COBOL programming experience in an IBM mainframe environmentMinimum 3 years of experience with IBM DB2 for LUW, including working with databases of one terabyte or larger and using XQueryMinimum 7 years of experience with IDMS and DMLO in a mainframe environmentMinimum 7 years of experience with APS (Application Productivity System) and CICS in a mainframe environmentMinimum 7 years of experience with IBM MQ SeriesMinimum 7 years of experience with IBM DB2 for z/OS, including working with complex database structuresMinimum 7 years of experience with IBM MVS JCL in a mainframe environmentMinimum 7 years of experience with TSO in a mainframe environmentMinimum 7 years of application performance analysis and tuning experience How to Apply Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
