Responsibilities
- Core Mainframe Expertise: Deep knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM (z/OS)
- Understand and troubleshoot legacy code and batch jobs
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Understand batch vs online processing, data flows, and system dependencies
- Assess impact of changes across applications
- Root cause analysis, ABEND handling, job failures, performance issues
- Own system stability and SLA adherence
- DB2 queries, data reconciliation, and data mapping
- Validate and analyze complex datasets across systems
Qualifications
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $61,087 to $104,364.
