Main OR RN - Weekend

Role: The Charge Nurse oversees safe and efficient patient care, manages nursing service activities, delegates responsibilities to staff, supervises patient records, and assists with staff performance reports and bed assignments. Qualifications: Requires a nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN) and a current RN license in the appropriate state. Physical demands include lifting, prolonged standing, and various movements. Certifications such as BLS are mandatory, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or specialty courses based on the unit. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with hospital policies, maintain inventory standards for supplies and medications, track narcotics, and resolve department issues as they arise.
