Main OR RN - Weekend

Role Overview: The Charge Nurse oversees safe and efficient patient care under the supervision of the Director and Clinical Manager. Key Responsibilities Directs nursing service activities, delegates responsibilities, and supervises staff nurses and auxiliary personnel.Maintains and prepares patient clinical records; assists with staff performance reports.Coordinates bed assignments and addresses department issues as they arise.Manages inventory standards for supplies, medicines, and equipment, including tracking narcotics and medications. Qualifications & Skills Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).Possesses a current RN license compliant with state requirements.Physical ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds, and perform prolonged standing and walking.Certifications such as BLS required; additional unit-specific certifications may be necessary (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC). Additional Requirements: The role involves supervising staff, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies. It requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to support high-quality patient care.
