About the role
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Main Line Technician to join our growing service team. This position offers a stable career path, competitive pay, an Hourly Bonus Structure, and the opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements
- ASE certifications are ideal
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
