About the role
The Information Desk Volunteer greets everyone entering the hospital, providing great customer service by offering information and directions as needed and performing various services for patients and staff members as required.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and patients at the hospital's information desk
- Provide information and directions as needed
- Perform various services for patients and staff members as required
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Support the hospital's mission, vision, and philosophy
- Communicate issues to supervisors as identified in the Corporate Compliance Plan
Requirements
- Must be 14 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check
- Must attend an orientation session
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of hospital operations and procedures
- Basic computer skills
