About the role

The Main Banker I delivers exceptional guest service while performing all casino cage transactions, ensuring cash control and disbursement for the cage, bank, and vault. This role assists in daily shift functions to provide guests with an enjoyable gaming experience.

Responsibilities

  • Service all cashiers and team member exchanges throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a balanced and impressed cash drawer.
  • Complete Currency Transaction Reports, W2G tax forms, and multiple transaction logs.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping in all duties and responsibilities.
  • Answer customer questions courteously and professionally.
  • Verify and document personal ID information for checks, cash advances, and slot marker transactions.
  • Make exchanges with Main Bank, Marker Bank, and Chip Bank.
  • Cash out customers and provide correct change.
  • Become familiar with the casino credit application process.
  • Clean and wash chips.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One (1) year of cashier or banking experience preferred.
  • Must comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
  • Ability to read, speak clearly, and listen.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.
  • Ability to complete forms and perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Must be able to distinguish between colors.
  • Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
  • Knowledge of all service areas: front window, marker bank, chip bank, and main vault.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work various hours, including weekends, nights, overnights, and holidays.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and squat.
  • Must understand and speak English.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise and visual distractions, including exposure to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and where smoking is allowed.
