About the role

The Rose Gaming Resort is a $480 million gaming and entertainment complex destination, located alongside I-95 in Dumfries, Virginia. It offers a luxury hotel, eight bars and restaurants, a space for meetings and events, 50,000+ square foot gaming space, and over 1,650 Historical Horse Racing machines, along with over 80 acres of green space. The resort generates an estimated $35.5 million in annual tax revenues and employs more than 500 team members.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Vault.
• Maintain tracking of coin and currency for Cage, Vaults on approved logs.
• Count and verify all cash/coin/ticket transactions in all Cage areas and assist Cage Supervisor with all transactions within the department.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must have at least two years as a cashier or bank teller.
• Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.

Qualifications

• Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
• Obtain and retain required license(s).
• Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
• Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
• Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
• Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

• Work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.
• Available for regularly scheduled work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
