About the Role

This position assists the Cage Shift Management Team in balancing the Casino Cage by consolidating all cash and cash equivalents, while serving as the repository for gaming chips, casino currency, and coins. Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding the mission statement.
  • Deliver the Five Star Experience by embodying the Mission Statement and Service Promise, adhering to department service standards (Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized, and Valued).
  • Maintain all Cage and Casino assets in the Main Bank room located within the Cage area.
  • Account for assets using the Main Bank Accountability and Inventory sheets, ensuring they are balanced at the end of each shift.
  • Accurately complete the Inventory section sheet by recording chips, cash, checks, total impress window figures, and all casino banks issued. The Accountability section tracks items that increase or decrease the main bank inventory.
  • Operate a 10-key calculator.
  • Maintain security and accountability for company funds located in the cage during a shift.
  • Assist employees with monetary transactions.
  • Receive Slot Machine currency drop.
  • Receive Table Games chip and currency drop.
  • Verify and replenish currency for ATR cassettes.
  • Receive miscellaneous casino revenues.
  • Prepare daily bank deposit.
  • Replenish all cage windows to the imprest amount.
  • Receive all slot tickets and checks cashed during the shift.
  • Complete all required documents with legible print.
  • Communicate professionally with all departments as needed.
  • Solely responsible and accountable for main bank inventory during the shift, processing all transactions accurately and maintaining variances to a minimum.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to guests and vendors.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures; attend scheduled safety meetings and training.
  • Provide overrides to Cashiers for required transactions.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
  • Assist management in supervising Cage Team Members, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (must be documented).
  • Six months of banking, cashiering, and/or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must pass a background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

  • Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and/or push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to use repetitive movements to complete tasks.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • May occasionally work in low-light conditions and be exposed to loud noise for extended periods.

Work Environment

  • Multiple locations, some open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; must be flexible to work any and all hours.
  • Must be available for emergency calls 24/7.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Some enterprises are gaming facilities.
  • Some enterprises are not smoke-free environments.
  • Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises 24/7.
