Main + Abbey Bartender Part Time

Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for providing excellent service in a timely manner and assisting beverage servers with orders to ensure a favorable gaming experience for guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Consistently prepares drinks according to Hard Rock Sioux City recipes and specifications for guests and fulfills cocktail servers' orders in a timely manner
• Responsible for cleanliness of the bar area
• Aids in inventory control, stocking, and proper rotation of product
• Prepares and sells all drinks on the menu and handles all transactions in accordance with cash handling policy
• Responsible for set up and breakdown of bar area as well as side work and projects as necessary
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol
• Ensures the safety and security of Team Members and guests
• Responsible to perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to guest limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training
• Interacts and speaks with guests to maintain great guest relations and provide opportunities for loyalty to occur
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills And Abilities

• Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash registers, and the company’s beverage system
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel
• Oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure, high volume demands

Education And Experience

• A high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred
• Two or more years of experience bartending preferred
