Mailroom Shipping Specialist
About the role
FADC Mailroom Shipping Specialist is responsible for the receipt and processing of various physical mortgage packages, including Closed Loan Packages, Credit Packages, Collateral Submissions, Trailing Documents, and Conditions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and route mortgage documents to appropriate internal workflow.
- Recognize and understand the differences between various types of loan documents and necessary data components for proper document check-in.
- Ensure accuracy in file receipts and adapt to cross-training in different departments as needed.
- Assist with vendor access to shipping dock as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous clerical or administrative job duties experience, preferably in banking, finance, or mortgage services.
- Strong document recognition and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple programs and applications.
- Basic computer skills and literacy.
- Physical ability to lift/move boxes up to 30 pounds.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality and security policies.
Qualifications
- Required education/work experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with preference for banking, finance, or mortgage services experience.
- Required skills and abilities: Document recognition, strong attention to detail, precision in data entry, multitasking, basic computer skills, and physical ability to lift/move boxes.
