MAILERLITE: SENIOR TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER

What You Will Work On

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks for our products
• Create and execute automated test scripts to validate new features and prevent new defects
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• Troubleshoot test failures, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation
• Drive improvements in test automation strategies, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest test automation tools and best practices
• Mentor and support QA engineers in automation best practices

What We Expect From You

• 5+ years of experience in test automation
• Strong expertise in test automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C# for test automation
• Hands-on experience with API testing
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Able to analyze test failures and drive resolutions with development teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software
• Experience working in Agile teams, collaborating with developers, product and QA Engineers

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of containerization and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong SQL skills for database testing (PostgreSQL)
• Background as a developer
