About the role
The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 1 accurately fills and counts medications, performs varied activities, and handles moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks. This role ensures inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by collaborating with the inventory supply team. Decisions are typically focused on interpreting area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. The position operates within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards but has some latitude over prioritization and timing, working under minimal direction.
Responsibilities
- Accurately fill and count medications.
- Perform varied administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.
- Ensure inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with the inventory supply team.
- Interpret and apply area/department policies and methods.
Requirements
- Active pharmacy technician license with the Board of Pharmacy in Ohio.
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or any factory/warehouse setting.
- Problem-solving skills to find viable solutions that meet business needs, even in the absence of ideal tools and resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Moderate working knowledge of Excel.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available, with $750 paid upon hire and the second $750 after completing 6 months (180 days) of employment.
Pay
The starting base pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $39,000 - $49,400 per year. The pay range may vary based on geographic location, and individual pay will depend on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
Schedule
Sunday–Thursday, 5:30 PM–2:00 AM. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
