Mail Clerk (Supply Chain VUH Post Office) - ONSITE

About the role
Receives, sorts, and distributes inter-departmental and U.S. mail. May sell postage and other postal products if assigned.
Responsibilities
- Receives and sorts campus and U.S. mail
- Sorts mail out within 24 hours of receipt
- Runs mail route as assigned
- Delivers and picks up mail on all stops according to schedule
- Sells postage stamps and other postal products as assigned
- Completes all U.S. Postal Service transactions in accordance with postal regulations
- Operates postage meter as assigned
- Sends out all meter mail within 24 hours of receipt
- Forwards or returns undeliverable mail as assigned
- Determines proper disposition of undeliverable mail within three days of receipt and processes accordingly

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of relevant work experience
