MAGTF SAG Assessment Analyst (PTOC)
Job Summary
The Assessments Analyst (PTOC) will examine and assess the organization, identify, offer solutions, and draft procedures for improvement. The role supports the mission of the Marine Specialized Assessment Group (MSTP) by training and educating Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and Marine Expeditionary Brigades (MEB) Command Elements.
About the Role
This position requires an adjudicated clearance and access up to TS/SCI security clearance. The ideal candidate will have senior staff planning experience in Joint Operations Planning Process and the Marine Corps Planning Process at the Marine Division, Wing, or MLG staff. They must also have experience conducting tactical and operational level planning at the conceptual, functional, and detailed levels for service and functional component organizations, as well as joint headquarters organizations. A Master’s degree or equivalent with 7+ years of direct relevant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Examine and assess the organization, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions
- Secure and analyze information from customers, processes, reports to determine relevant data and methods for analysis
- Draft reporting formats for results and recommendations
- Support the mission of the Marine Specialized Assessment Group (MSTP)
Requirements
- Adjudicated clearance and access up to TS/SCI security clearance
- Senior staff planning experience in Joint Operations Planning Process and the Marine Corps Planning Process at the Marine Division, Wing, or MLG staff
- Experience conducting tactical and operational level planning at the conceptual, functional, and detailed levels for service and functional component organizations, as well as joint headquarters organizations
- Completion of an appropriate level of professional military education such as Intermediate/Top Level School (ILS/TLS)
- Knowledge of, and operational experience, deploying and employing ground combat, aviation, supporting arms, and combat service support units and related equipment
- Knowledge of, and operational experience, with military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the operational command level
Qualifications
- SME Level – Master’s Degree or equivalent with 7+ Years Direct Relevant Experience
- Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Normal Office Environment
Travel
Approximately 15-20%, primarily to Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Pendleton, CA; and Okinawa, Japan
