The Macon County High School Assistant Softball Coach will assist the head coach in developing and implementing the softball program's strategic goals and objectives. The position involves overseeing practices, managing team logistics, and providing support to the head coach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing practice sessions
• Manage team travel and scheduling
• Support the head coach in recruiting and retaining players
• Work with the athletic department to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Experience coaching high school softball
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Current certification from the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS)
• Knowledge of NFHS rules and regulations
