Macmillan Money and More Caseworker

About the role

Citizens Advice North East Kent is looking for a Macmillan Money and More Caseworker to deliver high quality, holistic, and efficient advice to clients across Kent affected by cancer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver casework in relation to welfare benefits
• Assess and refer matters in relation to employment, housing, debt prevention and related areas
• Work in partnership with all key stakeholders including other local Citizens Advice, Macmillan Cancer Support, NHS Hospitals Trusts across Kent, local Hospices and other key organisations

Requirements

• Good English and Maths skills
• A strong attention to detail
• A commitment to helping individuals in need
• Experience of giving welfare benefits advice
• The ability to work with people affected by cancer and adhere to equality policies
