Caseworker
Job Summary
Intakes clients through quantitative assessments covering various aspects such as criminal history, education, employment, financial status, family support, neighborhood issues, substance use, peer associations, and criminal behavior patterns. Enters assessment results into ORAS systems and ensures accuracy and timeliness. Identifies and addresses barriers to successful program completion, including age, education, medical, mental health, transportation, and housing issues.
Responsibilities
- Completes and reviews intake/release packets and PREA screening results.
- Assists clients in becoming positive, productive, and prosocial members of the community.
- Acts as an advocate for clients and enforces program rules.
- Administers assessment tools correctly and updates as necessary.
- Develops and implements individual program plans (IPPs) according to established criteria and standards.
- Refers clients based on their ongoing needs and recommended dosage hours in the Community Plan.
- Ensures post-tests and exit evaluations are completed before client release.
- Aids clients in securing suitable housing arrangements.
- Prepares clients for release from the program with an approved Community Plan.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree: $19.00/hour
- Bachelor’s Degree: $20.00/hour
Pay
$19.00/hour with Associate's Degree
$20.00/hour with Bachelor’s Degree
