Machinist - Team Lead/Level 5 (1st Shift)

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and train employees to various machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards.
• Perform quality inspections and adjustments to maintain product quality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Utilize ERP system to manage workflow and inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating and programming CNC machines and manual machine tools.
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and materials used in aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Proficient in MS Suite.

Skills

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. 8+ years of experience in machining, preferably in aerospace or related industries. Familiarity with safety standards and quality control processes in manufacturing. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow detailed instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. SAP experience or other ERP systems.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $77,200 - $116,000.

Schedule

In this role, you will work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule. 1st Shift: Mon - Thurs 10 hours, 5:00am - 3:00pm.
