Machinist (Plant) I- 3rd Shift

Job Summary

The Plant Machinist supports the tool and die needs of the production and maintenance departments. The normal work week is approximately 50 hours if business demands require overtime. In addition, weekends are scheduled as needed based on production demands. In addition to the following, other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machine tools to produce precision parts and components
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in part production
• Set up and adjust machines to meet production requirements
• Perform quality control inspections on produced parts
• Keep records of machine usage and maintenance activities
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to machining processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in machining or a similar field
• Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
