Machinist, Night Shift

Diamondback Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Machinist to join our team! We are looking for a dynamic individual with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of CNC machines to help us create our proprietary engineered components. Job Functions

• Operate Doosan CNC machines with FANUC controls to manufacture components according to specifications and industry standards
• Work in a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing environment with a safety and ergonomic mindset
• Use industry-standard measurement tools, gages, and specs to ensure internal quality standards of 99.6%
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machines as needed to ensure efficient operation
• Manage tool offsets, machine load, and tool life management to maximize efficiency and meet cost goals
• Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and minimize waste
• Utilize cell-based software to monitor and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency and quality
• Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize downtime
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in CNC machining
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting problems
• Willingness to work night shift Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
• Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role: lift up to 70 pounds as needed
• Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines in a manufacturing environment

Compensation

Compensation up to $30.00 per hour depends on experience and years of service. Standard background check and drug testing is required. Medical insurance is 70% less cost to employee based off national average

Pay Range

$20 - $30 per hour
