Machinist (Mon-Thursday)

Position Summary: Responsible for doing multiple setting ups per shift and machining weldments and block work of all sizes in a timely manner, while maintaining exceptional quality.

Responsibilities
- Set-up and machine weldments per print efficiently and accurately
- Complete any necessary inspection worksheets
- Maintain little to no re-work or scrap
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1–3 years minimum experience as a machinist
- Prior experience setting up and operating HAAS VMCs and Mazak Lathes
- High attention to detail and quality
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Understand basic GD&T call-outs
- Ability to accurately use standard machinist measuring tools
- Ability to set up and run “one-off” parts to print efficiently and accurately
- Must work well under pressure
- Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills
Pay
$20–$24 per hour
