Machinist - Mechanical Field Services

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance activities.
• Develop solutions for various maintenance situations.
• Complete Work Orders and other maintenance documentation.
• Train and mentor maintenance employees.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Four (4) years' experience in the crafts of Machinist, Line Boring, Welding, Boiler Maker.
• Completed academic and practical competencies required (Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists).
• Ability to apply knowledge and technical skills while passing a written assessment where required.
• Proficiency in welding/cutting.
• Ability to operate a 11”, 20”, 24” and 32” Lathe, Milling Machine, Horizontal Milling Machine, Marvel Band Saw, Drill Press.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working on 4100XPA, 4100XPB/C and 4100 XPC/AC Komatsu Electric Shovels.
• Experience working on PV271, PV271XC Epiroc Diesel Drills.

• The estimated pay range for this role is currently $29.00 - $39.00/hour.
