Machinist/ Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operating manual and CNC type equipment, including set up and programming
• Measuring, examining, and testing completed tools for proper dimensions and function
• Using manual CMM to check parts
• Able to read and understand blueprints

Requirements

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team setting
• The ability to understand goals and prioritize work to achieve those goals in a timely manner
• Analytical skills, including the ability to understand blueprints and specifications
• Good math skills, and experience with machine tools, and computerized measuring machines
• Mechanical skills, including the ability to operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years as a machinist and a High School Diploma are required.
